Anson Main's new paper published in Agriculture, Ecosystems and Environment

This is a great new contribution to the story on why neonicotinoids exist in wetlands early in the spring before the farmers have even applied the chemical. Anson's new work shows they persist in soil and interact with the snow to become mobilized in meltwater and runoff into Prairie wetlands.
